Trying to play through Mass Effect, so I can better enjoy ME2. I'm loving it so far, but am having a rough time with Benezia...Getting past the commandos is rough, but I have been able to do it. My team members usually die though because they don't know how to take cover... leaving them at almost no health when the actual battle with Benezia starts. The commandos are constantly putting me in stasis or rushing our members and it's been extremely hard to get past them, not to mention Benezia does the same. I have been consistently able to kill her, but I am open to fire on all sides by those darned commandos. Anyone have any words of advice?Main character is Soldier, currently fighting with Wrex and Ashley Williams.PS (there is no way to directly control your characters, correct?)Benezia!
yeah, no direct control over the other party members.for that battle I used lots of Immunity (to make sure I didn't die) and Unity (to revive dead party members).Party members were Liara and Ashley. (Had Liara use Singularity as much as possible. Ashley used Carnage and Immunity. I was an Infiltrator, and you aren't so no Overload for you). blast Benezia from behind the pillar (ramp is next to pillar. don't go toe to toe with her ever. it's just won't work).Benezia!
I used Garrus and Wrex, we destroyed them.
Go behind her reach and work from back there, it makes things so much easier.
Does she stay put at that upper level? I know for the first part she does, but it seemed like she was running around after I beat her commandos in the first phase. If so, I'll go back to that bridge on the other side, so the shield wall is protecting me from her.(Yes, I am really wishing I had chosen someone other than a soldier, I'm really missing those amp abilities)
Well I stay behind during the first part to avoid getting my teammates ripped to shreds. During the second phase I use everything I have to try and bring her down fast then take down the commandos. I usually take the blunt approach to the commandos though if that's your problem.
