im thinkin bout getting this but i hear its really buggy and was wondering if they got a patch out to fix all the problems. also for those of you who played it, is it worth 800 points? thx!fallout 3: the pitt........
I didn't notice any bugs, but it certainly wasn't worth $10. Took me a few hours to play through itfallout 3: the pitt........
The bugs that were plaguing it when it was first released have been fixed, yes. They accidentally released the wrong build originally.
im thinkin bout getting this but i hear its really buggy and was wondering if they got a patch out to fix all the problems. also for those of you who played it, is it worth 800 points? thx!
It's not buggy anymore. Bethesda fixed that very early on. Unlike Point Lookout, The Pitt is pretty linear in gameplay. You can probably complete it in a few hours. However, The Pitt has some pretty good gear, plus the ammo press, which lets you convert ammunition to whatever calibur you want. The Penetrator is a great scoped, silenced weapon that comes from the Pitt. Combine the Penetrator with the Chinese Stealth Suit and you've got some serious stealthy goodness if you like sneaking around. Also, I think The Pitt has one of the better endings of all the DLC. It challenges your sense of ethics.I say it's worth the 800 points. If you really enjoyed Fallout 3, it's definitely worth getting all the DLC to extend your gameplay and pick up good gear.P.S. If you haven't gotten Broken Steel yet, get it first before getting any other DLC. It raises the level cap.
I got the goty version and it was very buggy... But the ammo presser was definitely worth it. Gave me all the .44 a man could need.
Only bug i noticed was at one point when outside looking for those steel ignots, i kept falling through the roof.
completely worth it although not the best peice of fallout DLC, that award goes to point lookout.
the only major bug i ran into was when i was trying to get all the steel ingots. A part of roof wouldnt load so i couldnt walk across it, problem solved with a restart of the console. Otherwise you should have taken advantage of the 14 days to new years deal, 50% off all fallout 3 DLC
I didn't think it was very fun. I would advise you to get any of the DLCs that were released after it(not OA) first if you haven't already.
