Cerberus network codes

If i buy mass effect used will i be losing out alot on the things the promotional code has in it? Is the code worth the extra 10 dollars?Cerberus network codes
well it isnt out yet but i think its safe to say you will be missing out. the DLC has an extra character in it and theres more mission's. Of course you also get the Cerberus network for free so id say its worth the extra 10 because if you buy it later your gonna end up spending more. You might as well get it new because used its only gonna be 5 or 10 buks cheaper.Cerberus network codes
I've always failed to see the appeal in buying any video game used. Why wouldn't you want to own your own new copy and probably most important, you know, support the Developers. Places like Game Stop shouldn't be allowed to run the shady used game marktets that they do.

yes, lets all go out and spend 70 bucks on games... that would be amazing... you dont make sense my man.... if a game is good enough people will buy it new, if not then you don't make alot of money.... It makes sense to me

If yes then you should think about buying it new. You could try to download it from d2d or impulse. I think impulse had it realy cheap so there is a good place to buy it if you don't need the material stuff.

I wholeheartedly agree that if you think a developer makes great games, or you happen to love a particular series, and you want to see MORE of them in the future, that it is absolutely a great idea to always buy those games new. I only buy used games I am dubious about or bored enough to play despite knowing full well they won't be very good. Bioware earned my money several times over with ME1, DAO and now ME2 and I am glad to support them in any way I can.
thanks! its ok though ill get it used prolly cause i grabbed a few of the network codes from work.

Oh I agree with you there... but the used game market is great for games you dont want to pay full price for... Don't get me wrong, I buy all my bioware and Valve and bungie games new... If a developer has gained my respect I don't mind buying their games. But their are mediocre games that are not worth a full game price

Bioware also deserves your respect and you should buy their games and support a company that is making some of the greatest games of all time.
DLC half the time is half assed and I do not waste my money on single player DLC games.
I rent games...$30 bucks a month to rent a game for a week and take it back then rent a new one thats alot better then buying used or new! I love Bioware games and all but I only purchase multiplayer games not any single player games unless they're amazing which many are not as great as they used to be IMO. Though I do not feel I'm missing out on DLC from the Cerberus Network its just a small expansion to a already massive game...yay for an extra ten mins of game play? I think not but thanks anyway:lol:

If you are worried about buying a game full price, I recommend waiting for the game to go on sale. Typically you can buy a recent new title when a good sale comes around cheaper than buying it used. Besides, didn't Toys 'R US just have buy Mass Effect 2 and get a $10 gift card? ;)
If you buy it used I dont think you will get a code, if you do it's probably already been used.
To be frank, from what I've seen, I don't think the DLC is worth the $15 it's supposed to cost if you get ME2 used. But DLC is rarely worth the cost of admission. We'll see - I think more free content is supposed to be on the way for people who bought it new, right?
You will be missing out on all DLC if you buy the game used... Because all DLC is distributed through the Ceberus network and not Xbox Live Marketplace... So if you want any DLC after buying the game used... You will need to buy the Ceberus Network from the Xbox Live Marketplace for 1200MSP ($15)...
