what does this feature do?I accidently pressY today and i saw this. So what does this do and what do i need to install when i already have the game?install game?
ok never mind. I just found out what is it for, thats pretty cool. One more thing, i only have a 20g harddrive so space is pretty limited. Lets say if i install a game for it to load better and after im done with it and wanted to delete the game installation will my save still stick?and how may space does it take for an average game?install game?
the amount of space used is around 5gb. it stores some of the game so your 360 doesn't have to work as hard. and no, this does not affect your in-game saves at all.
So how many of you use this feature since?
ok i've install the game and dont see much difference, playing mass effect 1 right now.Is there anything i have to do before i load the game like i normally do?

I use it. I'ved used it since the NXE uypdate went live. I've got about nine or ten 360 games on my hard drive.
It is much better to have the game installed. You won't wear the DVD-player out and the noise is a bit smaller...

I never play a game without installing it now. Been doing it since they added this feature. Much quieter, runs cooler, and some games load faster, if not, the same for the most part.
So how many of you use this feature since?
I always use it. I never play a game without installing it first.
i do once in a while, but i only have a 20gb hdd, and i have some videos and demos, so I really cant instal more than 1 game at a time. maybe i'll get a bigger HDD eventually.oh and i can vouch that on Saints Row 2 it makes the 360 TONS quieter. Normally at startup the CD runs really loud. Now, nice and quiet. :-)
I have thought about using this feature but something is holding me back from doing so.
