This is a great week for XBOXLive ownersYou can get the critically acclaimed SPLOSION MAN for only 400 points this week, that's HALF OFF it's regular price of 800 pointsThat's right folks, for the low low price of 400 points you can now get the best platformer of 2009*But that's not all! This week on the XBOXLive Arcade you can get Chime for 400 points as well. That's not a misprint, the new release this week will be only 400 pointsIt gets better, each and every sale of Chime will send more then 60% of the profits to Save the Children and the Starlight Children's Foundation. Just by buying the game you'll help kids in need AND get a great game.SPLOSION MANCHIMESAVE THE CHILDRENCHILDREN'S STARLIGHT FOUNDATION*Saying that Splosion Man is the best platformer of 2009 is Jaysonguy's opinion and does not reflect Gamespot's stance on the game even though Jason thinks it shouldSPLODE! For 400 Points and Chime For 400 ...
Great news! and great disclaimer.... Too bad I shelled out the 800 points already. Glad to see Microsoft is giving a deal on a rather new game though, hopefully it is a sign of whats to come.SPLODE! For 400 Points and Chime For 400 ...
Thanks for the heads up. I'll probably pick it up.
So I'm guessing it's worth it? Is the co-op good?
I got Splosion Man when it came out last Summer and I really like it. My avatar is wearing the shirt you get for beating the game co-op. I'll have to check out Chime. If it's good I'll buy it, if not I'll skip because I can give money to charity myself without having to buy a bad game. But that's only if the game turns out bad of course.

The co-op is good if it is local because the online co-op can get very laggy.

Really enjoying Splosion man so far. Definitely a well spent 400 mspoints.
Picking up Splosion Man today!!!
So happy I didn't buy it over the christmas break!
Yeah, you totally can't go wrong with Splosion Man for 400, heck at 800 it's a stealAlso excited about Chime tomorrow, any sort of music/puzzle game has my interest
i've played Splosion Man demo for a while now, and while $5 is good, i just don't get the praise for this gamei hear it gets hard but are the level layouts inventive or something? just making it harder doesn't nessecarily make it goodi think the demo is amusing for a bit, but seriously is there more than triple jumping everywhere? i suppose grabbing the cakes.is the demo just a bad representation of the full game?Honestly, playing Splosion Man demo makes me just wanna buy Shadow Complex, oddly enough

Yes, all of it happens in the complex but at the same time each level pushes you to get better and better at maneuvering. I didn't find it super hard to beat all the levels and get all the cake but I was raised on 2D platformers so I'm good at themThere's a reason I say it's the best platformer of 2009In other new I can safely say to everyone who likes fun games to AT LEAST try the Chime demoI tried it I bought it and I'm having a great time with itRemember as Jason says...''You'll have a great time if you play Chime''
I tried Splosion Man because it was the DotW but it's just not my type of game. I'll give Chime a try as any 400point game is worth a try.
