Can't sream music to my xbox 360

So I got an xbox 360 for christmas and I thought that it would be cool to stream my music to it from windows media player 11 but the only songs that appear on the xbox are the ones that I ripped from my CD's but nothing else. All my other songs were downloaded from limewire. so has anybody had this problem before if you have please help.Can't sream music to my xbox 360
Go to windows media player and go to the options I dont remember well I think it's media library, then allow 360 to stream from itCan't sream music to my xbox 360

lol what he meant to say was they were all downloaded from ''iTunes'' *wink*
the WMP is sharing with the xbox but only the ripped CD's show up but everything else isn't there.
Isnt easier if u share particular Mapp where u put everything, for example u allready got a mapp from the computer called shared maps i think or the easiest way use a usb disk and u save electricetie;)

What OS you using anyways? Windows 7?
well i found out how to to put them on the xbox so thanks I solved my own problem.
Another alternative is to keep all of your music on an external hard drive and play them from there. I have a 1 Terabyte USB drive that I keep all my media on. Music, videos, pictures. When you plug it into your 360, it shows up as a portable device when you play music, videos or view pictures.



Note: No this won't get you banned because you're using the external hard drive for media. You're not using it to store game saves or anything downloaded from Xbox Live.
